1. Why can digital transformation lead to business revitalization?
The term DX has become popular in recent years, but I think it is often used in the context of "small efficiency gains."
However, a little efficiency gain is simply the introduction of tools and systems, which is different from the intention of DX.
We define DX as " reviewing business models through digital solutions ."
We believe that specific examples of DX in primary industries include the following business transformations:

Automate many of the tasks involved in buying and selling vegetables and create a business model that allows a few people to compete with organizations of around 100 people.

All employees will be engaged in on-site work, and unprofitable indirect departments will be reduced to zero through digital transformation

By disclosing inventory to external business partners in real time, the company will become an IKEA-style vegetable wholesaler.
In other words, it refers to transforming the business model itself through digitalization.
In other words, rather than viewing digital transformation as something that makes digital transformation a little easier, we see digital transformation as a strategic tool for business revitalization .
2. Successful cases of business revival
A successful example of DX that we have undertaken is the automation of the order-taking department.
We integrate the common tasks of the order receiving, accounting, and on-site management departments to optimize personnel. In cases where results were seen in the shortest time possible, the cost reduction effect was realized in about one month. This has resulted in successful turnaround of a chronic deficit into a profitable business.
