1. Background of the Need for DXONE
As computers and the internet became widespread, and now with most tasks manageable on smartphones, we have come a long way. While digital engagement is a given in everyday life, a glance at primary industry sites reveals a world that remains largely unchanged since before the internet era.
Our company, DXONE, was established in 2024 through a corporate spin-off. Our predecessor company conducted advanced research and system development for large corporations. At that time, we were focused on cutting-edge technologies and never imagined that such "outdated" environments as those in primary industries were being left behind. To put it simply, it was surprising to discover that, even in 2024, FAX machines and floppy disks were still in active use. In fact, administrative staff were scrambling to purchase discontinued floppies on resale platforms like Mercari to keep operations running.
DXONE is here to equip these “digital last frontiers” with the tools they need.
"Tools that even non-digital natives can use from tomorrow."
At first, even our development team was skeptical about this vision. But once we took on the challenge, the impact was astounding. We realized there was still immense potential for digital transformation in this sector, and this success motivated us to specialize in truly integrating digital solutions within primary industries.
2. Our Commitment
We go beyond just offering tools. Our commitment extends to thorough implementation consulting, staying with our clients until they not only understand how to use the tools but also achieve measurable cost savings and revenue growth.
Our tools may not be flashy or stylish, but we aim to create solutions that, like a craftsman’s time-honored plane, develop their own character and reliability over decades.
3. Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs): The Foundation of Japan’s Economy
In Japan, 99.7% of companies are SMEs. They contribute over half of the GDP and provide 70% of employment. Improving the efficiency of SMEs could be the key to boosting Japan’s economy.
However, the reality is far from straightforward. Many SMEs, along with government initiatives, still grapple with doubts about whether growth and efficiency improvements are realistically achievable.
DXONE offers solutions that have proven incredibly effective in previously "unrealistic" areas. Initially, our project outcomes were surprisingly impactful, allowing us to drastically reduce the number of personnel in back-office roles, thus turning around the business’s fortunes.
Recognizing the potential of this initial success, we quickly redesigned our prototype into a SaaS model to make it scalable across other companies, which led to the creation of Smart Order.
4. Addressing the Challenges in Primary Industries
In primary industries, FAX machines and handwritten invoices remain widely used. This results in scattered internal data and extreme complexity in administrative work.
While large companies have streamlined their accounting with enterprise systems and now cloud-based solutions, primary industries still rely on significant manual effort before data can even reach accounting departments. This leads to situations where losses from sales go unnoticed, or invoices are overlooked, resulting in diminished productivity and frequent errors—a characteristic challenge of primary industries.
As a consulting firm focused on providing solutions for primary industries, DXONE aims to grow as a company that generates lasting value, dedicated to these timeless challenges.
